At your first appointment you will have a chance to tell your story in detail so that I can get to know you and understand all the factors that contribute to the state of your health. I am truly interested in seeing how all the pieces fit together! Please bring any supplements you take so we can review them together. It may also be helpful to bring your most recent lab work. I will provide initial recommendations at this time.
Within 2-3 weeks we will schedule a follow-up appointment with additional recommendations after I have had a chance to review your case. We typically meet every 3-4 weeks after that, but this depends on the level of support you need.
I want to challenge you, but not overwhelm you. We will set attainable goals, so do not worry if this is all new to you! My approach places primary importance on treating you as a whole person while supporting your body’s natural healing process.
We may include various natural therapies to accomplish this goal:
Good nutrition is the foundation of your health. I help you learn to maintain a diet that supports you and will recommend targeted supplementation as needed. We may also consider the impact of food sensitivities through specialized elimination diets or testing.
Herbal medicine is the art and science of using plant extracts to support health. I select herbs most suited for your situation and constitution, taking into account possible interactions with any medications.
Homeopathy is a safe, gentle system of healing that is based on energetic principles. Your physical symptoms as well as your personality and emotional patterns are considered when determining the best remedy to support you on your healing journey.
I will encourage and support you to make specific, powerful changes to reduce stress and stimulate the healing process. Changes may include welcoming more movement into your life, prioritizing sleep and self-care, spending reflective time in nature, developing or rekindling your creative spirit, and reducing toxicity in your environment.
What to Expect
You should start to feel positive changes within the first month or two, and improvements will continue with your active participation and engagement. Of course every person and every situation is different, but if your condition is chronic you should expect to commit at least 6 months to the process.
The initial consultation is 90 minutes ($240). Follow-up sessions are 45 minutes ($120). Payment is expected at the time of service by check, cash, or credit card. You may also be able to use your Health Savings Account or Flex Spending Account (see your plan administrator for details). At this time my services are not covered by health insurance in the state of South Carolina.
